Lorne G. Monkman

Mr. Monkman has over twenty-five years experience in corporate and human resources management within the oil and gas and manufacturing industries in Calgary, eastern Canada and the United States. In addition, Mr. Monkman served as a commissioned officer with the Canadian military, early in his career.

Mr. Monkman has had considerable experience and success in search having conducted assignments up to and including senior executive level positions and which have ranged from local to national and international in scope. In addition, he has extensive general human resources management experience encompassing all aspects including human resources information systems. Most recently he was responsible for the worldwide human resources function for Amoco’s gas marketing division.

Mr. Monkman has also held a number of senior level corporate management positions during his career including corporate planning, materials management and corporate services. Through this combined experience, he has developed experience and expertise in corporate and organization structuring and cost management in addition to his many other qualifications.

He is a graduate in Commerce and earned a Masters of Business Administration at McMaster University in Hamilton.
