Douglas G. MacKenzie is the Managing Partner of MacKenzie Gray Search Inc., a Canadian executive search consulting firm. Prior to founding MacKenzie Gray in 1996, Mr. MacKenzie had over 20 years experience in corporate and human resource management, in both the private and public sectors. He has held the top human resources position in two major, publicly traded, Canadian corporations.

Mr. MacKenzie has had extensive experience and success in the area of executive search and recruitment. In his consulting practice and former corporate roles, he has conducted searches at all organizational levels from middle management and professional positions to corporate directorships, which have ranged from local to international in scope. Mr. MacKenzie has demonstrated considerable success both in identifying and attracting talented candidates. A number of Calgary based corporate Presidents, Officers and professionals have been recruited, during their careers, by Mr. MacKenzie.

In addition, Mr. MacKenzie has extensive experience in specific areas of human resource management including compensation, training and development, and organization planning, in both union and non-union environments. As a senior corporate officer, he has actively participated in the development and implementation of corporate business plans and overall corporate development. He has worked at all levels within the organizations, with specialized expertise working with corporate Boards of Directors and their committees. Mr. MacKenzie has also developed and managed other corporate services including information systems, safety and environmental departments.

Mr. MacKenzie is a graduate of the University of Calgary Faculty of Business and the Banff School of Management.

Active in his community, Mr. MacKenzie currently serves on the Board of Quest Theatre and is the Past Chairman of the Champions of Calgary program, a past President of the Calgary Downtown Association, and past Vice Chairman of the Calgary Convention and Trade Show Committee. Mr. MacKenzie has been a Governor of the Petroleum Resources Communication, Director of the Calgary Winter Festival and Section Chair of the United Way of Calgary.

He is a member of the Calgary Petroleum Club, the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and the Pinebrook Golf and Country Club.
